The Only Saddle I Can Ride Long Distances
Having tried multiple shapes and widths of saddle, all causing severe pain around my sit bones, I decided to give this a go. The pain and loss of blood flow after 50 miles was making me think I'd have to give up riding sportives. It's been something of a revelation. Most people go for these saddles to avoid pain/numbness in the perineum, which it does too, but for me the combination of a flat top surface, narrow body (I have narrow sit bones), and deep, firm padding has enabled me to ride long distances again. Saddles are a very personal thing, so it's hard to give a recommendation, but if all normal saddles have failed you, give this a try. It's expensive, heavy and weird looking, but might just save you.
Pros: comfortable, good fit, high quality
Cons: expensive, heavy
