Different From The Rest
ISM has a reputation of being a triathlete's saddle. I can see why but they are not. It takes a while to get the adjustment correct because it is different from a traditional saddle. You should be sitting on the forks at the front, so your weight is transferred further forward & I found the saddle needed to be raised as a result (which is the opposite of the manufacturer's recommendations). I find myself in the drops more often & get into a rhythm more easily than before with a slightly faster cadence, so I am able to maintain faster speeds for longer. On a longer journey I find myself moving back & forth a little to change the pressure point on my sit bones. The only downside is that it is heavier than other saddles I have used. Looks a little unusual but I like this.
Pros: attractive, comfortable, good fit
Cons: limited color choices
