PR 3.0 – $159.88
The PR 3.0 is an update of the very popular Typhoon saddle. At 145mm wide, it is our widest PR model – great for upright style bikes, or those seeking maximum support. With 60-series foam and gel padding, you won’t find a softer seat in the ISM line. While the PR 3.0 is loved by many high-level triathletes, it is equally at home on hybrids, road bikes, and city bikes. A true jack-of-all-trades, you will not find a more comfortable seat in the world. Like all ISM saddles, the PR 3.0 is nose-less and designed to remove pressure from soft tissue, ensuring maximum blood flow, no genital numbness, and a healthier, more enjoyable ride.

Customer Reviews of The PR 3.0 Saddle
Purchased for a three month off road cycle tour of Sri Lanka. This saddle will hopefully be the solution to my long distance cycling needs. For reference I am 5ft 9 and 10st 6. I have trialled the saddle briefly in the UK having followed the online fitting guide to the letter and so far this offers greater comfort than previous saddles. It would be nice to update you more thoroughly once I have some serious distance under my belt...
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight
After buying this am not wearing any bibs, and that make my ride more comfortable.
Pros: Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
Cons:Expensive
This is the smallest seat I have seen in the ISM range. 2 points it doesn't cut the blood off and secondly it is weirdly comfortable when you are on the bike for a long time. Use it in both aero and on-the-hoods position. Great purchase
Pros: Comfortable, Great Value, High Quality
Brilliant saddle & money well spent. Takes a couple of rides to get used to the sit bone pressure being in slightly different places but from 1st ride absolutely no numbness of my dangling bits whatsoever!! Well pleased.
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
Brilliant. I love it just check all reviews. Recommend. Healthy seat.
Pros: Adjustable, Attractive, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value
Cons: Wears Out Easily
Has to be one of the ugliest saddles I’ve seen but comfort is outstanding. Took a while to adjust to get the perfect fit but is real comfortable. Hopefully help me on my Ironman and 70.3 in the summer
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality, Rugged, Versatile
Cons: Limited Color Choices, Unattractive
Just wanted to express my gratitude for what a fantastic product you guys make. I run two PR3.0 saddles, one on my trail bike and one on my road bike, and I’ve probably gone through 3 or 4 over the last almost 12 years (I had an original Typhoon!). Without question, the saddles have totally transformed my relationship to cycling by allowing me to ride for so much longer, and therefore farther, while still in total comfort. It really is a magical thing after years of enduring the pains of conventional saddles. I ride almost year-round here in Victoria and so enjoy the benefits of your products on a near-daily basis. Well done, and please keep doing what you do.
Very comfy seat, use it on my endurance road bike, its a bit heavy but otherwise good.
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Good Fit, Great Value, High Quality
Cons: Bulky
This saddle has sorted out my on-going discomfort problems. I've swapped from my selle Italia that didn't suit me even after an excellent saddle fit which went someway to making things better but I still ended up constantly wriggling around to get comfortable after 60 km so on longer rides always ended up sore.
Pros: Comfortable
Only gave 4 stars as I’m new to this type of saddle and so far I’m finding it weird. Bought specifically due to numbness in the undercarriage. So far I’m still suffering but just not as quick. Saying this, I think it’s down to my seating position so will take a bit of tweaking. Back to the saddle. It’s extremely well made with plenty of support and solid enough to take plenty of miles.
Pros: Adjustable, Durable
After three different saddles, my wife tried this one and it is easily the most comfortable for her. She is a casual cyclist riding a quite upright folding bike for about an hour each ride. Looks weird but works.
Pros: High Quality, Durable, Good Fit, Comfortable
Cons: Expensive
This is the second ISM saddle I have bought. I find them more comfortable for longer rides. I have one on the bike I use on my turbo and have bought this one for my new Emonda SL5. Easy to install and adjust. Check the video on how to set the saddle up. This one is designed for endurance rides and is slightly wider at the rear, which I personally find improves the comfort over longer distances.
Pros: Comfortable, High Quality
Cons: slightly heavier than some saddles
I ride a PR1 on my road bike and a PR2 on my mountain bike so I thought I would try the PR3 for extra comfort. I am around 107 kilos and 1.76 metres tall but me for this saddle is too wide. The build quality is very good and if you suffer from bum pain the ISM saddles definitely work. Some would argue at the expense of a little sit bone discomfort but for me it is a price worth paying.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Rugged
Cons: Expensive

I bought this for a specific purpose, as I have recently had prostate surgery. I previously used a Specialized Avatar saddle (which has a perineal slot) but I wanted to offer more relief to the perineal area and this seemed an obvious choice. It certainly is different and on first looks seems to be too small to be any good. But in fact it works really well. You have to set it up differently to "normal" saddles (which is explained on the packaging with the saddle). I found that measuring the height from the ground to the back of the top of the old saddle, together with the measurement from the stem to the back of the old saddle gave a pretty good starting point. On trying it I found I needed to move it about 1cm back, then it was good to go. Although much shorter than a "normal" saddle it doesn't feel it when you sit on it. I immediately felt comfortable and well supported. Because of my post-op situation I am limited to what I can do, so am restricted to use on my Wahoo Kickr for now. As I have not had the opportunity to use it on the road yet I cannot award it 5 stars, but I am hopeful that it will be good there too.
Pros: Comfortable
You need to get the adjustment right but this saddle is so good I bought one for each of my bikes. No more need for chamois cream - I am a cycle tourist so it is great to be comfortable for long days on the bike! It is a little wider in the front than other saddles so you need to know if this will work for you.
Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable
Cons: Expensive
Have used ISM saddles for a while but got this one because my old one was getting uncomfortable after an hour, this is their widest and most padded option and I can do an hour on the turbo trainer now without ending up in pain.
